The first conversation is about the person, not the programme: who is learning, why it matters now, and what they hope will be different. Everything we suggest afterwards follows from that conversation.
Every programme is made, not taken off a shelf.
There is no standard course to be placed into. Who teaches, how often, at what pace and towards what are decided for the person or the group in front of us, by people who have spent years learning how to make that judgement well.

- What makes Learn&Co different from another language school?
- We don't assign tutors at random or run off-the-shelf courses. Maria personally matches every learner with an expert native tutor from our selected network, and each programme is shaped around your goals, level and life — with progress tracking and regular check-ins so momentum never quietly fades.
- How does tutor matching work?
- After your discovery call we consider your goals, level, learning style, personality and interests, then select the right tutor from our vetted network of native-speaker specialists. The relationship between tutor and learner is what keeps you turning up and making progress.
- Can I learn online, or in person in London or Paris?
- Both. We teach one-to-one online anywhere in the world, and face-to-face in London and Paris — at home, in your workplace, or somewhere that suits your week. Many learners mix the two, and we also run Immersive Retreats abroad and school exchanges.
- Do you teach children as well as adults?
- Yes. We work with adults and professionals, GCSE and A-Level students, younger children, corporate teams and whole school groups. Tutors are matched to the age and stage of the learner as well as the language.
- How much do lessons cost?
- Private language programmes are bought in hours: 4 hours at £75/hr (£300), down to £64/hr on 48 hours used within up to 12 months (£3,060). Exam preparation runs from £105/hr on 4 hours (£420) to £89/hr on 48 hours (£4,284), and business one-to-one runs from £120/hr on 4 hours (£480) to £102/hr on 48 hours (£4,896). - How quickly can I start?
- Most learners have their discovery call within a few days and meet their matched tutor within one to two weeks. If you have a deadline — an exam, a relocation, a posting abroad — tell us and we'll prioritise the match.
